I’m Laura, a Yoga and Pilates instructor based in Budapest.
I teach Power Yoga and Toning Pilates classes designed to build strength, improve body awareness and create a positive, motivating environment.
You can find me at Go Active Health Club and at Corvinus University. My sessions are held in English and are open to anyone who wants to move, challenge themselves and feel better both physically and mentally.

The sessions are typically more accessible and equipment-free, using only bodyweight exercises. This allows everyone to participate comfortably while still experiencing a meaningful physical challenge.
Power Yoga is a dynamic and strength-focused style of yoga that combines continuous movement with controlled breathing. My classes are designed to challenge the body while helping you stay present and focused throughout the practice.
Expect a strong, full-body workout with a particular focus on core strength, balance and body control. Many of the sequences include planks, bodyweight holds and flowing transitions that require both physical and mental endurance.
During each class, I always provide different variations of the exercises, so everyone can find their own level. Whether you are a beginner or more advanced, you will have the option to simplify or intensify the movements based on your needs.
I always emphasize that this is not a competition. Everyone is on their own journey, and the goal is to focus on your own progress rather than comparing yourself to others.
Each class ends with a longer relaxation phase, starting with guided relaxation and followed by quiet time to fully unwind and focus on breathing.
Classes often begin with a short intention-setting, giving a meaningful frame to the practice. Throughout the session, I encourage participants to reconnect with their intention and stay present.
Power Yoga is ideal for those who are looking not only for relaxation, but also for a physically demanding, energizing and strength-building practice.
Toning Pilates is a full-body, low-impact workout that focuses on strengthening and shaping the muscles while improving coordination and body awareness.
The classes take place on the mat, but thanks to the excellent equipment available at the gym, we often incorporate tools such as dumbbells, resistance bands, ankle weights or blocks. These allow each participant to adjust the intensity and find the right level of challenge. The movements are often slower and highly controlled, which makes the exercises more intense.
Instead of relying on momentum, the focus is on proper muscle activation. This is what creates that deep “burning” feeling in the muscles – and this is exactly what helps develop strength and muscle definition.
Classes are dynamic and enjoyable, often accompanied by energizing music and sometimes incorporating interval-style elements such as short challenges.
Starting from a basic position, I usually build up the exercises step by step, offering multiple variations and progressions. This allows everyone to gradually challenge themselves and safely push their limits.
While the majority of participants are women, the classes are absolutely suitable for men as well. Toning Pilates is an effective workout for anyone who wants to build strength, improve posture and develop better control over their body.
Every class is a chance to move, recharge and connect.
